In vivo real-time skin fluorescence measurements

FluoDerm is a handheld device for objective real-time in vivo measuring of fluorescence, capable registration of:

  • Dynamic control of photodynamic therapy (PDT) by measuring added fluorescence during and after application of photosensitizing agent such as 5-ALA (Photo Spray, Levulan or Metvix).
  • Visualization of hidden melasma
  • Investigation of skin desquamation
  • Skin auto-fluorescence

The measurement can be performed anywhere as the instrument electronically corrects for the actual ambient light.
